Eras was first cut by the Wagner foundry in 1969 for Studio Hollenstein~ Paris. A very slight italic angle~ a large x-height and attractive sans serif character shapes make ITC Eras a good face for advertising and display use. ITC Eras has elegant humanistic letterforms~ ideal for display sizes~ although the medium version reads comfortably in magazines and brochure settings.
